Primary Role:
Responsible for carrying out all company goals and objectives established by the Managing/Sales Director, as it relates to this position. To include: maintain customer relations with existing clientele, expand the company's current customer base by developing new leads and customer relationships, meet or exceed the sales revenue goals set forth by the Managing/Sales Director, develop and maintain professional selling skills, and contribute to the company marketing efforts (i.e. project pictures/videos, testimonials, interviews, product reviews, training, demos and company events).
Responsibilities:
Responsible for servicing existing client base while generating new business to expand current customer base.
Generate new business leads through networking, initiating new customer relationships, cold calling and providing value with a solution-based mindset.
Providing timely and accurate response to customers' required proposal and/or bid circumstance.
Responsible for writing, submitting, and presenting professional budgetary letters, proposals and contracts.
Follows up on all sales leads in a timely manner, ideally same day / 24-hour max.
Promotes all company, products, systems and services offered.
Updates sales pipeline deal information weekly.
Provides bi-monthly accurate expense reports,
Includes accurate job notes, scope of work, site information and pictures/content to appropriate systems and folders according to company process.
Collaborate with clients, other account managers, engineering, and operation’s team members to propose the best solution, based on the client’s circumstances, budget and needs.
Makes necessary sales presentations to customers and management as requested.
Acquire and maintain sound knowledge of all product lines and services offered.
Consistently work with management for approvals and to develop a competitive pricing structure.
Research and obtain information on position specific training opportunities.
Exceed all company sales goals and objectives as it relates to this position.
Effectively and respectfully communicates information interdepartmentally for team collaboration and success.
Other duties as required or assigned by company management.
Revenue Expectations:
Total Annual Sales to exceed $1M year one, $ 1.2M every year after.
Maintain an average Gross Profit Margin above 30% on integration projects.
Generate a minimum of (4) projects exceeding $200k annually.
Revenue Goals:
Total Annual Sales to exceed $1.5M.
Maintain average Gross Profit Margin established by AVE on integration projects.
Generate a minimum of (5) projects exceeding $200k annually.
Accountability:
The Account Manager will be accountable to the Managing/Sales Director. Secondary accountability to other management team members, President, employees, and clients of the company.
Qualifications:
Encouraged: Account Manager possesses a four-year degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis in business, marketing or engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the field of sales or service of electronics equipment. The Account Manager should possess knowledge of customer relations, marketing and communications, and project management.
Travel:
It is expected that this position will require a moderate to considerable amount of travel to customer and vendor sites. Travel to industry events may also be required.

Proficiency in the use of computers including such programs as D-Tools, QuickBooks, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and CRM platforms.
Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing and implementing skills which support the successful completion of a project by a specific due date.
Ability to effectively handle stressful situations.
Ability to read and interpret general business documentation.
Valid and current driver’s license.
Physical, Mental and Environmental Requirements:
Employee is required to stand, walk, climb, sit and use hands and fingers.
Lifting of objects up to 75lbs.
Reaching, grasping and carrying activities also required.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Although most work is performed inside, occasional outside activities are subject to seasonal temperature fluctuations.
