AVE Web Store Return Policy

We understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations, which is why we’ve designed a straightforward and customer-friendly return process.

Please review the details below to understand how to initiate a return, eligibility requirements, and the steps to ensure a smooth experience.

Please read conditions below. If all conditions are not met, AUDIO VIDEO ELECTRONICS, LLC reserves the right to refuse the return or to charge a minimum 15% restocking fee. AVE can only refund the original purchase price. Taxes, Shipping and handling or other fees are nonrefundable. All returned items must be in new condition, in their original unaltered box (including an intact UPC code) and must include all packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals, accompanying free items and accessories. The retail value of any free items you keep and included will be deducted from your reimbursement total.

Defective or Damaged Items
Defective items may be repaired, exchanged or refunded at our discretion for the same model or manufacturer's equivalent model. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be received within two business days of receipt of merchandise. Return shipping fees for verified defective or damaged items will be reimbursed.


Nonreturnable Items

  • Electronic software downloads sales are final

  • All educational books sales are final

  • Opened consumable items (e.g., cables,  tapes, bulbs,  etc.) sales are final

  • Opened TVs, monitors, LED Walls, and larger are in original packaging must not be broken, ripped, or unsealed sales are final

  • Opened computers and computer software must be in original packaging cannot be broken, ripped, or unsealed sales are final

  • Any equipment built or modified by AVE to customer specifications sales are final

  • Select special-order merchandise; and or, any item indicated on the website as nonreturnable sales are final

  • Underwater equipment that has been submerged the sale is final


Exchanges and Refunds
Please allow 5- 15 business days for mail-in exchanges to be processed.


Refunds & Credits
Once we receive and inspect your item(s), we will credit your account. Please allow 7-10 days for a credit to appear on your account. In most cases, we will issue your refund in the same way you made the original purchase. If payment was made by check, the refund check will be issued no sooner than 15 business days after the date of purchase. Please note we can only refund the original purchase price. Taxes, Shipping and handling fees are nonrefundable.


Limited Liability
AVE is not responsible for personal data or items left in returned merchandise. AVE is not responsible for any consequential or incidental damage resulting from the sale or use of any merchandise bought from us. We are responsible for the monetary value of the merchandise only.

Please note: any electronics containing user profile data must be either factory reset or password unlocked before sending back to AVE for return.  If this is not done there will be a 25% of the returned product additional charge.
