As part of the SRX900 Series, it combines a JBL 2279G-1 driver with an 1100W continuous Class-D amplifier (2500W peak) to deliver impressive headroom with minimal distortion. Integrated DSP control (48 kHz/24-bit) provides 24 user-adjustable filters, delay, and system management via rear LCD or networked software, while presets enable true cardioid subwoofer deployment with straightforward cabinet orientation. Coverage is omnidirectional by default, with cardioid options for stage-friendly LF rejection, and maximum output reaches 134 dB SPL in half-space.
 
Connectivity and build are ready for touring. The SRX918S features balanced XLR audio I/O, dual etherCON networking ports for control and monitoring, and dual powerCON TRUE1 power in/out for reliable daisy-chaining. The reinforced 18 mm plywood cabinet wears a rugged DuraFlex finish with a powder-coated steel grille, built to survive real-world rentals, installs, and touring sound workloads. At 22.6 × 26.9 × 26.9 inches and 98 lb, it truck-packs cleanly and stacks easily for scalable systems. Frequency performance is voiced for musical impact—35–100 Hz (-10 dB) and 45–80 Hz (-3 dB) with the 80 Hz preset—making it an ideal low-frequency foundation for SRX900 tops or other professional arrays.
