The Shure ULXD4D-GV is a dual-channel digital wireless receiver engineered for high-security environments. This GV version features always-on AES-256 encryption, making it ideal for government agencies, corporate boardrooms, and executive-level applications where sensitive audio transmission requires the highest level of protection. Housed in a rugged single-rack unit, the receiver integrates two independent channels and built-in Dante™ digital audio networking for seamless connectivity in complex AV systems.
 
Designed as part of the professional ULX-D Series, the ULXD4D-GV offers exceptional 24-bit/48 kHz digital audio clarity, accurately capturing every nuance with tight low-end response and articulate high-frequency detail. Each channel features its own RF and audio meters, 60 dB of gain adjustment, and balanced XLR outputs—ideal for both live sound and permanent installations.
 
The ULXD4D-GV operates in the UHF spectrum with Digital Predictive Switching Diversity to maintain a stable, interference-free RF signal. Its two operational modes are tailored for versatile performance:
 
Standard Mode: Up to 17 channels per 6 MHz TV band, with transmission ranges up to 330 feet
High-Density Mode: Up to 47 channels per 6 MHz TV band, optimized for shorter-range (up to 98 feet) high-channel-count applications
 
Additional hardware features include RF cascade ports for antenna signal distribution and audio summing, which enables the unit to operate as a 2-channel mixer. Dual Ethernet ports allow for Dante integration, remote control, and scalable networking with other ULX-D receivers via Shure Wireless Workbench® software or the ShurePlus™ Channels iOS app.
