The Shure SLXD2/N8S Handheld Microphone Transmitter with Nexadyne 8/S Capsule is a digital handheld wireless transmitter designed for use with SLX-D receivers. It features the Nexadyne 8/S dynamic supercardioid capsule, which incorporates Shure’s innovative Revonic dual-transducer technology—two interdependent diaphragms, voice coils, and magnets working together to deliver condenser-like clarity and rich, natural detail. This advanced design allows performers to focus more on their performance and less on mic technique.
With a tight supercardioid polar pattern, the SLXD2/N8S offers excellent off-axis rejection, high gain before feedback, and precise directional pickup. Operating in the UHF band with a 44 MHz tuning range and up to 1760 selectable frequencies, the transmitter delivers robust RF performance with up to 330 feet of range. It offers selectable 1/10mW RF power output and runs for up to 8 hours on two AA batteries or the optional SB903 rechargeable battery.
Housed in a lightweight, durable aluminum body, the SLXD2/N8S provides crystal-clear 24-bit digital audio, making it an ideal solution for small to mid-sized venues, houses of worship, educational institutions, and corporate AV installations.
