The RF Venue Diversity Fin Antenna is a professional-grade, cross-polarized antenna designed to improve signal reliability in wireless microphone systems. Operating in the 470 to 698 MHz frequency range, this innovative antenna combines a log-periodic dipole array (LPDA) and a dipole antenna in a unique orthogonal configuration, capturing both vertically and horizontally polarized RF signals for superior reception.
Unlike traditional dual “shark fin” setups, the Diversity Fin performs the role of two antennas in one compact, rugged unit—enhancing RF stability, reducing signal dropouts, and improving audio clarity. It’s compatible with any brand of diversity wireless system, making it ideal for live sound, film and TV production, corporate AV, education, and houses of worship.
Installation is quick and flexible with a built-in mounting block that supports 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16, and 5/8"-27 threads, allowing easy attachment to standard mic stands and mounting hardware. Simply connect both A and B outputs to your antenna distribution system or wireless receiver (coaxial cables sold separately), and aim the antenna toward the performance area.
