Audio Video Electronics is looking for a Lead Install Technician to join our growing team.

The Lead Technician plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of AV integration projects from conception to completion. This position demands a highly skill and experienced individual who not only possesses exceptional technical proficiency in audio, video, and lighting systems but also embodies AVE's commitment to unparalleled customer satisfaction and installation quality.
What You'll Do:
Lead and execute AVL installation projects, ensuring top-quality results and tight adherence to timelines.
Oversee system staging, integration, testing, and troubleshooting for audio, video, lighting, and control systems.
Mentor junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Serve as the technical point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional service and training.
Ensure installations meet industry standards, safety regulations (e.g., OSHA), and company quality benchmarks.
Stay ahead of the curve by earning manufacturer certifications and staying current with AV technologies.
What You Bring:
5+ years of AVL integration experience, with 2+ years in a lead/supervisory role.
Expertise in audio (DSPs, mixers, amplifiers), video (projectors, displays, codecs), lighting (DMX, programming), and control systems (e.g., Qsys).
Strong understanding of networking (IP addressing, VLANs) and video conferencing platforms (Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms).
Ability to read schematics, troubleshoot complex systems, and ensure flawless signal flow.
Preferred: CTS-I, manufacturer certifications (Qsys, Shure, Dante), or CompTIA Network+.
High school diploma/GED required; Associate’s/Bachelor’s in a technical field preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook) and excellent communication skills.
Valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50-75 lbs, and comfort working at heights.
Flexibility for occasional evening/weekend work and out-of-state travel.
