The House Church

AVE provided all audio video and lighting for a major addition to this Eagan MN church.

The House Church, a growing evangelical community in a southern suburb of the Twin Cities area, contacted AVE in 2019 regarding an ambitious new addition to be added to their existing campus. The pastor and leadership were highly focused on a new worship space that, though still volunteer-driven, would give them a high level of sonic and visual impact.

Over many hours of discussions and investigation, and in cooperation with the architect and project manager, the AVE design team created a plan that prioritized the wishes of The House Church for powerful and full range sonic performance while leaving plenty of room for full stage lighting and video production capabilities. This was accomplished through careful repurposing of existing equipment while focusing new investment on core systems and careful implementation.

AVE provided a comprehensive, phased-in, building-wide, audio and video network with programmed and local touch panel control, allowing rooms to operate independently or as overflow to the main worship space.

"We asked that the primary focus for our new space be a powerful but high clarity sound reinforcement system and, wow, we were not dissapointed!" - Chad Austin, Production Director

Featured equipment brands for The House Project included: QSys distribution and control, Meyer FOH loudspeakers in the main space, Martin Audio loudspeakers in the prayer room and common spaces, Allen & Heath mix system, and Black Magic Design video switching and production.
